REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinator of Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), Febri Hendri, urged the Selection Committee of leadership of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to explain assessment criteria of the eight candidates of KPK leaders who were chosen.
"We urged the selection committee to explain to the public about criteria and assessment results," said Febri to ROL, Tuesday (1/9).
According to ICW, from the eight names of candidates, there are three names who are quite risky for the authority and the existence of KPK.
The selection committee has submitted eight names to President Joko Widodo on Tuesday (1/9) afternoon. The eight names were divided into four topics, namely prevention, enforcement, management, and coordination of supervision and monitoring.
For prevention, the selection committee chose Saut Situmorang (Expert Staff Head of BIN) and Surya Tjandra (Lecturer of Law Department of Unika Atma Jaya). For the prosecution, the selection committee chose Alexander Marwata (Ad Hoc Judge at Corruption Court of Central Jakarta) and Basaria Panjaitan (Polri).
For management, the selection committee chose Agus Rahardjo (Head of the Policy Institute for Government Goods/Services) and Sujanarko (Director of Network Development Cooperation of Inter-Ccommission and the Inter-Agency of KPK). While the coordination of supervision monitoring, the selection committee chose Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo (Plt KPK) and Laode Muhammad Sharif (Rector of Law Department of Hasanuddin University).
