Rohingyas send gratitude to Indonesia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Muslim Rohingya in Myanmar delivered its gratitude to Muslim Pilgrims (Hizbullah) in Cileungsi, Bogor, for its help. "We received an email of gratitude letter from a Rohingya leader, Imum Ahmed, yesterday," the spokesman of Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah), Ali Farkhan Tsani, said on Tuesday.

Imum Ahmed on the letter delivered his gratitude to the organization for its kindness and support for Rohingya. The organization provided the aids for Rohigya who seek for shelter in Aceh.

"We do not get any aids, neither from inside nor outside of our country. Only in Indonesian Muslim we see hopes that we are looking for," the letter said.

Ali Farkhan, cited the letter, said Rohingya believed Indonesia as the biggest democracy country in Islam world could lead Rohigya to fair, equal, and free world for all Muslim.

Earlier, the Mynamar Rohingya Association in United Arab Emirates delivered the similar statement through its leader, Dr Than Aung. Than Aung who also a prominent journalist and Chairman of CEO of Eleven Media Group, said the association was ready to join Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) especially to struggle as solidarity act in Muslim brotherhood.
