Aid for Rohingya to be delivered on Saturday

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Red Cross will soon deliver the aids for Rohingya in Myanmar on Saturday. "We plan to deliver the aid on August 25. The total aid volume is around 7.5 tonnes," the Spokesman of Indonesian Red Cross Aulia Arriani said on Wednesday.

The aid is in the form of 500 hygiene kit (such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, detergent, towel, and bucket), 3,000 blankets, and 10,000 saroong. The aid will be dispatched by BAE 146-200/PKJKC cargo aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Indonesian Red Cross Jusuf Kalla said two members of Indonesian Red Cross were still in Myanmar to form a plan with Myanmar Red Cross nd Government.
