REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR - Indonesia Navy will beef up marine security in Bali for the following Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) on November 8-9, 2012.
"BDF is annual agenda, but we still patrol in every prone regions," the Commander of Navy in Denpasar, I Wayan Suarjaya, said on Saturday. Police, inhabitants, and fisherman are also involved in securing the island.
Towards the event, Navy plans to deploy its warships as apart of BDF's security measure. On BDF last year, Navy deployed two warships to monitor the coastal area near Ngurah Rai Airport and Nusa Dua.
