REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Hundreds of opportinities to study in Australia are available now. Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Greg Moriarty, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2014 Australia Awards Scholarships provided under the Australian Government’s overseas aid program.
Australia is offering around 500 awards to candidates from Indonesia. A total of 2,300 students from over 90 countries will have the opportunity to study at Australian institutions in 2014. Last year 474 scholars were selected from Indonesia to study in Australia in 2013.
“The Australia Awards Scholarships are an opportunity to make a world of difference and the Australian Government is now inviting applicants who want to be part of a new generation of global leaders for development with strong links to Australia,” Moriarty said in a written statement.
“Awardees will receive ongoing support and professional development throughout their careers from the Australia Awards international Alumni network linking individuals, institutions and nations,” Moriarty added.
