REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Publicly listed telecommunications operator, PT Indosat has removed its listing from New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) since May 2013.
President Director of Indosat Alexander Rusli mentioned that listing at NYSE didn't fit with current condition. But he believes that decision will not affect the company's performance.
"Indonesia's stock markets is more established," Rusli said on Wednesday.
The company announced to distribute dividends to shareholders amounted. 34.52 IDR per share or a total of 50 percent of net profit in 2012.
Indosat booked a net profit of 375.1 billion IDR in 2012. This value decrease 61.3 percent compared to 2011. However, the company's operating income increased 10.4 percent to 22.72 trillion IDR and 82 percent of it obtained from cellular service.
