REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PALEMBANG -- The Indonesian economic slowdown with a market decline in the share price, could be a right time to invest in stock market.
"It is appropriate to invest in stock markets, both for the beginner or someone who already has an account (investors), because the financial ability of a company can be seen clearly in current economic conditions," said Head Office of Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) of South Sumatera, Early Saputra, in Palembang, on Sunday (30/8).
Companies whose the share price continues to fall, shows that the companies are unable to cope with current economic condition. Otherwise, if there are companies that survive, they actually really in a healthy financial condition.
"The capital market investors get more accurate information, not only read financial statements and company profiles, but also can directly observe the movement of the share price," he explained.
This kind of investment was applied by Warren Buffett, as one of the most successful capital market investors in the United States. He was once listed as the richest businessmen in the US.
"Warren said, the best time to invest when there is blood in the street (demonstrations, riots.) Since then, the stock fells to be very cheap, then he became rich after ten years," he said.
