REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The number of followers on President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyonos twitter account has crossed four million for the first time since the accounts launch in April 2013.
On Friday, the @SBYudhoyono twitter account had 4,042,209 followers, according to ANTARA monitoring.
@SBYudhoyono has generated as many as 1,510 tweets and has also been following 132 twitter accounts between April and November 22, 2013.
In addition, President Yudhoyono has a fan page on Facebook, which attracted close to 1.2 million likes until Friday.
President Yudhoyono has often expressed his views through his twitter account, including his statements on the alleged wire-tapping by Australian intelligence agencies of his personal cell phone, as well as those of his wife and other high ranking officials in 2009.
