REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Minister of Health and 11 partners signed some points of commitment to eliminate gratification, an act of corruption, on Wednesday, witnessed by Indonesia' Corruption Eradication
"We highly appreciate the Ministry of Health for their commitment," KPK's deputy chairman, Zulkarnaen said on Wednesday.
Minister of Health, Nafsiah Mboi, said that she was proud of the ministry's measures to combat corruption. The Ministry signed it with 11 partners, namely Indonesian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (GPFI), International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (IPMG), Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI), Joint Medical Devices and Laboratory Indonesia (Gakeslab), Association of Herbal Medicine and Indonesian Traditional Medicine (GP Jamu). While the others are Indonesian Medical Device Manufacturers Association (Aspaki), PT Kimia Farma, PT Indofarma, PT Bio Farma, PT Rajawali Nusindo Indonesia (RNI) and PT Phapros. Other ministries also have signed such commitment, Ministry of Public Works and Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.
Zulkarnain hopes that ministries and other strategic institutions will follow suit to combat corruption. All parties must increase their awareness on gratification.
