REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian racer, Rio Haryanto said that he was very optimistic to achieve the best result in his last four GP2 series. GP2 last four races left now aims to see new racers who qualify for joining Formula One (F1).

According to Haryanto, even if he failed in the last race at Silverstone International Circuit, the Solo-born rider is still sure of getting good result.

"Hopefully I can achieve good result in the last four races to go to F1," Haryanto said in Jakarta recently.

Haryanto is ready to work harder to improve his performance from previous race. Besides, the consistent attitude is also required as expected. This year shows more competitive race and he excites through it.

"We will work hard. This is a great opportunity for me and my team to bring Indonesia into larger arena," Haryanto added.

Haryanto is the first Indonesian to compete at the GP2 level and some predict he will become Indonesia’s first F1 driver. In June 2013, he won his first podium finish in the GP2 Series at Silverstone, which was also the first for the Barwa Addax Team in the 2013 GP2 season.
