REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Government will sink three foreign vessels which illegally conduct fishing in Indonesian waters. The execution will be taken on Saturday, December 6.

"There are three foreign vessels that have been processed. They are violating the law," Coordinating Minister of Politics, Laws and Security Tedjo Edhy Purdijanto said on Thursday, December 4.

The minister said that the President called him to take firm action towards the illegal ships. "We will sink them in Saturday. This is our firm action towards illegal fishing," he said.

The action, he said, was an effort to enforce law and remind every party not to breach Indonesian borders and conduct illegal fishing. The execution will be carried out in Anambas, Riau Islands.
