REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Spokesman of Golkar Party of Ancol’s congress, Leo Nababan said his camp became more dubious about temporary peace agreement with Golkar of Bali’s congress.
The doubts were based on attempted attacks against Golkar Party’s office in West Jakarta, which was occupied by Golkar Party of Ancol’s congress. Leo accused that the attack was carried out by Golkar Party of Aburizal Bakrie’s camp.
"Mr. Agung became emotional when he heard it, and he questions the agreement. He also said that ‘if they did it like this, I am not sure I can agree anymore’. No need for reconciliation if so," he told ROL on Monday, June 8.
He regretted the attack which even tarnished the agreements signed. He also assumed, Aburizal Bakrie (Ical)’s camp only did camouflage with undergo the agreement of local elections.
"Is this just camouflage..? Seeing this indication, Mr. Agung was become hesitant to undergo this reconciliation. Is their intention for [real] reconciliation or for fake one?" he said.
Even so, Leo added, there was no certainty about the future. According to him, it was still vague whether the agreement will be continued or not. Instead, he added, the person in charged for signing nomination letter of the regional head has not been agreed.
"It’s not decided yet who will sign it. It is the biggest future obstacles," he said.
