REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Cyber security analyst from CISSReC (Communication and Information System Security Research Center), Pratama Persadha, said that he already checked the web system of revolusimental.go.id. According to him, in making official website, the government should use private server system.

“After checking, the website was known to use shared web hosting. A ministry that have large budget supposed to use their own server,” he said, Friday (28/8)

He explained, the consequences of using share hosting makes web revolusimental.go.id shares its "home" with other webs.

"Private server is very important. If there is an attack or a problem, we can restore it quickly, because it manage by ourselves,” he added.

Pratama also revealed that there has been no specific standards to cyber security for ministries, state agencies, and local government. The specific standard of cyber security should be realized in order not to increase the chance of data hacking.
