Two missing when ferry hit by tugboat

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SAMARINDA -- Two ferry passengers were reported missing when it was hit by a tugboat pulling coal pontoon in the river of Mahakam in East Kalimantan on Sunday.

The accident occurred when the ferry with four people on board was on its way from the village of Sirbaya, in the district of Kutai Kartanegara to the village of Sebulu Modern, police said.

The ferry skipper Saimullah and a passenger survived the accident but two other passengers Upik (27) and M Zainul Anwar (27).
