REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government is preparing a policy and drafting a set of regulations on the implementation of e-government, an official has said.
Director of e-Government at the communications and Informatics Ministry Firmansyah Lubis said in a statement that the government is preparing Presidential Regulation on the use of electronics system in the government agencies.
Lubis said the government also is drafting ministerial regulations related to e-Government such as on national master plan, data center and data recovery center and national portal.
In addition the regulations would be related to stipulation on the management system of copy rights, source codes inter-operability, security for information systems, etc., he said.
The reference in drafting the map of e-Government is based on the principle of political sovereignty, self reliance in economy and cultural integrity.
