REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia to stage simultaneous religional elections on Wednesday (Feb 15). The National Coordinator of Voters Education Network for People (JPPR) Masykurudin Hafidz appealed the voters not to go home immediately after voting. He said that the voting and counting will be conducted on the same day. "Please oversee the counting," he said to Republika.co.id on Tuesday.

Masykurudin explained the voting will be started at 07.00 am to 13.00 pm. It will be continued by the counting until it was completed. He hoped that the voters would monitor all the processes. Their presence in the election spots may avoid any foul from outsiders. "By giving time in the election point, we could oversee the election process to run even more fair and square and to make sure that our vote was not fouled," he said.

He said the absence of the voters and the citizens would increased the transparancy. So the regional election and the result of the voting would have more integrity. "Therefore do not immediately go home or leave the election point," said him.
