REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla held a meeting with the leaders of Islamic organizations at his official residence in Jakarta on Friday night. He was accompanied by National Police Chief Tito Karnavian, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Religion Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, and TNI Commander Hadi Tjahjanto.
The invitations arrived about 18.30, and the meeting began around 19.30 West Indonesia Standard Time. Attending the meeting were PP Muhammadiyah General Chair Haidar Nashir, Syarikat Islam Chairperson Hamdan Zoelva, MUI Chair Ma'ruf Amin, Deputy Chairperson of the MUI Zainut Tauhid, Muslim Scholar Azyumardi Azra, Chairperson of the Persis PP Advisory Panel Maman Abdurrahman, and PB NU Chairman Said Aqil Siradj.

Meanwhile, on Friday (26/10), Jusuf Kalla conducted a series of events at the Office of the Vice President. On Friday morning, Kalla began the day by receiving the Vice President of Panama and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Isabel De Saint Malo De Alvarado.
In the afternoon, the Vice President received the EU Commissioner for Environment, Maritime and Fisheries affairs, Karmenu Vella.
