REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- An unusual thing happens in the Gunung Gede and Pangrango areas in Bogor Regency of West Java. The area, which was usually just cold, was suddenly showered with snow. Temperatures there reached zero degrees Celsius in the summer of July this year.

Mountaineers are required to be extra vigilant. They must complete all climbing needs in order to avoid hypothermia.
