REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Hajj Financial Management Board (BPKH) together with its partner Kemaslahatan Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM) held mass circumcision for 1200 children in Bandung and West Bandung Regency to welcome this school holiday.

The activities were opened in person by Dr. H. Tb. Ace Hasan Syadzily (Vice Chairman of Commission VIII DPR RI), Prof. Dr. Arif Mufraini (Member of BPKH Executive Board), Galeh Pujonegoro (Director of OKW BMM), and Eryk Lufiat (RCEO Jabarkal Bank Muamalat).

This program is organized from the value of the benefits of the management of the Abadi Umat Fund (DAU) managed by BPKH. The value of the benefits or results of the development of DAU are used for the welfare activities of Muslims, one of which is the field of health.

“Charity funds are channeled to the Islamic Ummah of Indonesia. One of them was a mass circumcision today to help residents perform one of the services for men. ” said Prof. Dr. Arif Mufraini in a written statement to Republika, Saturday (23/12/2023).

This activity takes place during the school holidays in December at 12 Kab points. Bandung and Kab. Bandung Barat with a target of 1200 participants.

“Thank God the utilization of BPKH welfare funds can be felt by Bandung and West Bandung residents, as the largest contributor of Hajj worshippers in one of the Provinces in Indonesia,” Ace said.

This time mass circumcision uses a modern circumcision method, which is super smartklamp, without stitches and bandages. In addition, participants also get drugs, circumcision certificates, circumcision briefs, parcels, education, and post-circumcision control. “Using this modern circumcision method, patients can immediately go into activities such as bathing, because the circumcision wound is waterproof. ” said Galeh Pujonegoro, Director of OKW BMM.

He also advised that participants be able to take the medication at the recommended dosage. “This program should provide optimal benefits for society. So a modern circumcision package was chosen. ” added Galeh
