REPUBLICA.CO.ID, Three nights before Saád bin Abi Waqqash embraced Islam, he had a dream. Saád dreamed as if he were drowning in the dark. When Saád was in the darkness, he suddenly saw the moon radiating light.
Saád then followed the radiance that month. Then he saw the first three men before me, following the moon. They were Zaid ibn Haritsah, Ali ibn Abi Thalib, and Abu Bakr Shiddiq. Saad then asked them.
“Since when are the three of you here?” asked Saád
They replied, “Not so long ago.”
During the day, Saad received word of the Messenger of Allah Shallallahu Alaihi Wassalam inviting people to embrace Islam secretly. Saad was even more convinced by his decision to embrace Islam.” “Believe me, Allah wills good on me, and with Islam, Allah will bring out from darkness to light,” Saad said.
Saad was quick to seek the Messenger of Allah (SAW). His efforts to seek the Messenger of Allah came to fruition. He met the Messenger of Allah while performing the Ashar prayer. “I declared my conversion to Islam before him,” Saad said.
Saad also knew the meaning of his dream that no one had preceded him to Islam except Zaid ibn Haritsah, Ali ibn Abi Thalib, and Abu Bakr Shiddiq.
