REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk introduced a new logo at the time of the company's 74th anniversary, which falls on February 9, 2024. The launch of the new logo was held at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, Sunday, attended by Minister of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, and BTN President Director Nixon Napitupulu.

The new logo had several changes compared to the previous logo. One of the most striking changes is that the letter “BTN”, which was once a capital, is now a lowercase. In addition, there is a small red line above the letters BTN.

Nixon said the new logo summed up the optimism that depicted BTN as modern and relevant to the development of the times.

Meanwhile, small letters symbolize humility which illustrates that BTN is approachable and understands the needs of customers in order to achieve life goals.

The red line above the BTN letter concludes that the bank is progressive and continues to move forward, so BTN bank wants to establish its position as a financial institution that is visionary, consistent, and capable of progressive development.

“We will also maintain the tagline we've been pushing for young people and millennials to start saving and owning a home with the tagline 'because life isn't just about today, '” Nixon said.

Erick said that BTN is one example of a healthy bank because it could generate a net profit of Rp 3.5 trillion last year.

He hopes BTN can become a bank that can build a solutive housing development ecosystem to help overcome the backlog or shortage of housing in Indonesia.

“I also remind the board of directors and commissioners of BTN to really build a solutive ecosystem between BTN, the National Public House, the government, and the railway to build homes that millennials can have,” Erick said.
