REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Chairman of the Party for the Awakening of the Nation (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid revealed that there is still a good relationship between PKB General Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) or vice president 01 in the 2024 presidential election with the Party's General Chairman Gerindra or capres 02 in the 2024 presidential election. According to him, it is not ruled out that the two will meet in the near future.

“Gerindra is familiar with the CLA, Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Muhaimin are familiar. I think, if we meet, we should not be in a public space, what can we do,” Jazilul told reporters after the homecoming release agenda at DPP PKB, Central Jakarta, Saturday (6/4/2024).

Jazilul said that Prabowo and Cak Imin, who initially joined the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), have indeed built a fairly intimate relationship. Although fate says otherwise, Cak Imin turned to the Change Coalition stronghold with Nasdem Party and PKS to advance to become vice president of Anies Baswedan, but relations between the two are claimed to be good.

“The vision of the CLA with Gerindra I think is the same. The relationship of Gus Muhaimin and Mr. Prabowo to this second has not been a problem. In the fraction there are also no problems. It is because of a different fate that he did not become Mr. Prabowo's deputy. There has been a lot of talk about that time, the vision has been drawn up,” he said.

As for talking about steps forward for Cak Imin to join the CLA as the opposition or remain in coalition with the government, Jazilul did not explicitly mention. He only said all along, at least in the last 20 years, the CLA has always been in the governing coalition.

“The CLA has no experience outside the government. So let's see, who wants to take over the government anyway?” He said he was wandering.

The member of Commission III of DPR RI also did not acknowledge any invitation from Prabowo's camp to join, although it is rumored that Prabowo embraces all parties. “(Regarding Prabowo's request) I mean wait a minute, it is clear that during this time the CLA has been part of the government,” he stressed.

It is known that the issue of the meeting between Cak Imin and Prabowo came up, after the General Chairman of Nasdem Party met with Prabowo a few days after the 02 party Prabowo-Gibran was announced as the winner of the 2024 presidential election by the Election Commission (KPU). Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar's Change Coalition 'AMIN' also looked more shaky, along with Prabowo's statement that he would embrace all parties, in addition to not abolishing the voting rights for the 2024 election fraud in DPR.
