REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- Head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Ministry of Religious Affairs) of North Sulawesi (Sulut) H Sarbin Sehe invites Muslims to maintain the spirit of Ramadan.
“Muslims must maintain the spirit of Ramadan in order to enhance individual and social piety,” Sarbin said in Manado on Thursday.
He said this was done in a balanced way with the Eid al-Fitr spirit because worshippers had been educated during Ramadan to defeat selfish, arrogant and other negative tendencies.
“Let us continue to enhance our social piety in everyday life in the spirit of Eid al-Fitr,” he said.
He said Muslims had learned and were educated during Ramadan to become a new human being, a man of fitrah.
“Therefore, let us continue to practice the good things given by Allah during Ramadan,” Sarbin said.
