REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Chairman General Manager Besar Nahdlatul Ulama KH Yahya Cholil Staquf asked the head of the newly inaugurated Central Youth Movement (GP) Ansor Khidmah 2024-2029, to learn from President Joko Widodo.
He said that Jokowi had led Indonesia into a decade of strategic investment for the future. According to him, the number one person in the Republic of Indonesia has laid the very important foundations for a better future of Indonesia.
“I am very grateful that I put hope to all my brothers, I am sure that GP Ansor and Banser are fighting together,” Gus Yahya said during the Inauguration of Towards Ansor Future in Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (27/5/2024).
According to him, one of the things that President Jokowi needs to exemplify is the principle of sustainable development. Because according to him, Indonesia's development will not escape the success points of the past that are constantly being refined.
“This is the principle that was actually upheld by the Prophet Muhammad's treatise, when he said that his mission was to perfect, not to replace at all,” he said.
In addition, he considered that Jokowi carried out the development in a way that was thought out, planned, carefully planned in earnest, and by following a logical sense.
“That which is done is not an empty dream. Thus, from reality and logically to encourage the occurrence of a new, better reality. This is a principle that we have seen all along upheld by President Joko Widodo,” he said.
He also reminded that GP Ansor is the muscle of Nadhlatul Ulama. For this reason, he also asked that GP Ansor should be the hacker of the road to the future Indonesia.
As for now, PP GP Ansor Masa Khidmah 2024-2029 is headed by General Chairman Addin Jauharudin, replacing Yaqut Cholil Qoumas who is now serving as Minister of Religious Affairs.
The inauguration of PP GP Ansor 2024-2029 was attended by President Jokowi and President-elect (2024-2029) Prabowo Subianto, GP Ansor carried the themes of Energy Transition, Labour-intensive Economy, and Digital Economy.
GP Ansor General Chairman Addin Jauharudin said all three things were an important key to strengthening Indonesia's economy over the next five years.
“In the midst of uncertain global economic conditions, Indonesia needs to focus on strengthening the economy over the next five years,” NU's young figure known as Gus Addin told the media on Sunday (26/5/2024).
In the momentum of the inauguration later, Gus Addin will deliver the Ansor GP road map for the next five years, with the ASTA CAN concept. In his speech tomorrow, Gus Addin will lay out the concept of ASTA CAN before President Jokowi, President-elect Prabowo Subianto, thousands of national figures, old NU, to GP Ansor residents.
“ASTA CAN is Ansor's strategic move over the next five years, aimed at advancing Ansor citizens, organizations, advancing NU, and advancing the nation,” he explained.
ASTA is the eight pillars of President-elect Prabowo Subianto's program, while BISA is the four pillars to support the program, which means Business, Innovation, HR, and Young People.
The focus of ASTA CAN is young people, not only young people from Ansor, NU, but also young Indonesian children. They are the leaders of the future. “Towards Indonesia Golden 2045, we need to prepare candidates for future leaders,” he said.
Therefore, Addin apologized if later the community that will cross around GBK will experience congestion. “But, we will alert thousands of Bansers who will assist the police in regulating traffic,” he concluded.
