REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Naturalization process of Emil Audero Mulyya Joey Pallupessy, and Dean James have received approval from the House of Representatives. The approval was delivered at the Plenary Meeting of DPRI RI, which took place at DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Thursday (6/3/2025).

“In accordance with the results of the replacement consultation meeting between the leadership of DPR RI and the leadership on March 5, 2025 assigned Commission X and Commission XIII to carry out the discussion of the naturalization process of the three players and will be further decided in today's plenary meeting,” said Deputy Speaker of DPR RI who chaired the Plenary Meeting of DPR RI Adies Kadir.

“Based on the results of the deliberations of Commission X and Commission XIII of the Parliament of the Republic of Indonesia decided to approve the granting of consideration of citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia to brothers Emil Audero Mulyadi, Joey Pallupessy, and brother Dean James,” he added.

Adies continued, in connection with which he requested approval at the plenary meeting of DPR RI to approve the application for consideration of granting citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia on behalf of the three players.

The MPs who were present at the plenary meeting of the Parliament of the Republic of Indonesia also replied in compact agreement. Adie then knocked on the hammer, a sign certifying the decision.

“Thank you. Subsequently, it will be followed up, adjusted to the applicable mechanisms,” he said.

The presence of these three players is expected to strengthen the Indonesian national team, which will continue its fight in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the Asian zone. Indonesia will face Australia on March 20, 2025.

Emil Audero Mulyadi who is currently the goalkeeper of Serie B club Palermo will compete with Maarten Paes. Dean James the player who plays at Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles will add strength at left back. As well as Joey Pallupessy is a midfielder at Belgian 2nd Division club Lommel.
