US: Indonesia will survive from economic crisis

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Wendy R Sherman believes Indonesia will survive from economic crisis. She is sure that Indonesia has learned from  experience of ciris in 1998.be as bad as during the economic crisis like 1998 due to the current conditions are much better," Sherman said in a discussion "US Foreign Policy in Asia" in Jakarta on Wednesday. 

She added Indonesia had implemented right policies to support the growth. Indonesia has recorded economic growth over 4.5 percent since US experienced a recession in 2009. Indonesian economic continued to rise to 6.1 percent in 2010, 6.5 percent in 2011 and 6.23 percent in 2012.
