REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YANGON -- A military jet fighter when on training crashed and burned up in Magway, Myanmar's central region, Wednesday morning, official sources said.
The M29 caught fire and burnt to pieces after it fell onto a farmland near Myothit township of Magway at 8:30 a.m. (local time).
Two army officers escaped death with parachutes but were injured.
No other serious casualty was reported out of the mishap.
The sources did not reveal the cause of the crash.
