REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Head of Foreign Relations Committee at Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI), KH Muhyidin Junaidi said that Muslim growth in some countries needed a network of preachers. He said, the growth itself was an interesting phenomenon in the last decade.

"Indonesian preachers are more moderate and acceptable in many countries of the world," Junaidi said on Wednesday.

Junaidi said Indonesian preachers could be sent abroad if needed. Indonesian preachers can associate themselves with world religious institution, such as Natural Rabithah Islamy or Muslim World League and other Islamic institutions in American and European countries. Unlike Middle Eastern countries, he said, Indonesia understanddiversity better so this advantage was an asset to deliver Islamic teaching abroad.
