REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) Cholil Ridwan said that his institution would have Islamic Educational Program to educate Muslims in slum areas in Jakarta.

"We will provide some materials about politics and Islam," Ridwan said on Thursday.

Cholil said that politics and Islam were an integral part. The political theme is injected to this study because Muslims have to master in their own country ahead of the 2014 general election. Cholil targets to visit the slums in Jakarta every month.
