REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Some world class musicians cheered the crowds during the last day of Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2012 on Sunday. Among them was Stevie Wonder, who performed deliciously and sang some ear-friendly songs such I just called to say I love you, Ebony, and Ivory.
Bobby McFerrin and Swing Out Sister, respectively staged earlier in the same stage.
Earlier, Pat Metheney attracted his audience on another stage. He sahred the same spot with Al Jarreau and George Duke Trio featured Cindy Bernadette who performed hours later.
Numerous Indonesian musicians also showed their best performance in the third day of JJF 2012, namely Twilite Orchestra, Jopie Item Band with His Son, Kotak feature Nabrassban, Sujiwo Tejo, and also D’Sound. Some tributes also held for musical legends of Indonesia, such Bubi Chen and Benyamin. Ah… the last day was a memorable moment that hardly to dismiss.
