REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The bilateral meeting between Indonesia and Kazakhstan concluded with the agreement to strengthen cooperation including related to oil exploration. Several cooperation and partnerships were agreed, Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Friday.
“We are agreed to cooperate in real sector, such as grain, cotton, tire industries, and oil exploration,” SBY said.
He sees Kazakhstan visit as an important move to strengthen the relationship and partnership as Kazakhstan is a strong country. He expected the visit to bring real benefit. The bilateral relationship between two countries celebrates the 20th anniversary on 2013.
President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said the relationship with Indonesia was related to energy, transportation, agriculture, food processing, and Small Medium Entreprises sectors. He said Kazakhstan was ready to distribute its grain and floor to Indonesia.
“Indonesia and Kazakhstan have the same view and goal. This is a good sign to strengthen the relationship,” he said. The country will soon open an embassy in Indonesia to increase the relationship. N c27/Satya Festia
