A Cessna aircraft crashed at Bandung Airshow 2012

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - Cessna Aircraft crashed during flight maneuver at Bandung Airshow 2012 at Husein Sastranegara Airport on Saturday, September 29. The airplane crashed at 11.45, local time. 

The aircraft, produced in Kansas (the US) and owned by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI), was performing low flight maneuver. The AS-20e Bravo LM-2003 plunged into an empty area from 400 meters height.

The pilot, Norman T Lubis, and its partner, Toni, were reportedly dead. Norman is a member of Indonesian Aero Sport Federation, while Toni is the instructor of Bandung Pilot Academy.

All members of Indonesia Air Forces rushed to the location along with some airlines and PT DI. The victims were taken to Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung.
