Bank Mandiri credith grows 22.3 percent

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned bank company, PT Bank Mandiri recorded credit growth of 22.3 percent or 428.7 trillion IDR in second quarter of 2013. Total asset of company increased 17.6 percent or 672.2 trillion IDR.

"This positive performance drives growth of company and net profit reached 8.3 trillion IDR in second quarter this year," Sadikin said on Tuesday.

Increase in lending shows in all business segments. Highest growth shows in micro segment at 58.1 percent or 23.9 trillion IDR.  Meanwhile, credit channeled to segment of micro, small and medium enterprises (SME) grew 26.5 percent at a level of 60.2 trillion IDR.

The third party fund increase to 502.4 trillion IDR or growing 20.1 percent. Public savings continues to grow 19.1 percent or 206.5 trillion IDR.
