REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of State-owned Enterprises (BUMN) Dahlan Iskan fired two directors of PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia on Thursday, after they were caught playing golf on a workday.

"The President Director of BKI (Ibnu Wibowo, red) and another director were dismissed after they were found playing golf on a workday," stated Minister Dahlan Iskan, soon after attending an executive meeting here, on Thursday.

The two directors are officially fired on Thursday.

"New directors will be appointed tomorrow through a shareholder's general meeting (RUPS)," confirmed Dahlan.

Earlier, Dahlan had announced that any director of State-owned Enterprises, if caught playing golf during workdays, will be fired.

The golf ban was issued after the former head of Upstream Oil and Gas regulatory special task force (SKK Migas) Rudi Rubiandini was arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for allegedly accepting bribes and doing business deals over a round or two of golf.
