REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Former Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives Ganjar Pranowo said there were offerings of money on e-ID procurement projects targeted him by Mustoko Weni. He claimed to refuse all the offerings.
In front of the panel of judges, Ganjar said Weni offered him some money for many times. “Dek, there was entrusted money. No (Ganjar replied),” he repeated the dialogue between him and Weni, during the trial in Jakarta on Thursday (March 30).

He said the offering came after a meeting in Commission II, but he did not remember what being discussed in it. Ganjar said he did not care about the money because he was sure that it potentially be a problem in the future.
Being asked by the Chairman of Judges John Halasan Butarbutar whether he received any money from the project, he said no. He claimed to do not know that there were corruptions in the project.
“I know it after reading some news mentioning the details of the receivers,” he said.
