REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- General Election commission (KPU) commissioner Ida Budhiati has asked Jakarta election supervisory board (Bawaslu) to immediately give firm action on video campagin that carried ethnic, religious, racial and social group (SARA) sentiments. 

Ida said the criminal aspect could be decided after fulfilling some evidences related SARA sentiments. "It should be procssed by Bawaslu. Based on their investigation, it can be seen whether the evidence will sufficient to be forwarded to the integrated law enforcement," Ida said at KPU headquarters, Jakarta, on Monday (April 10).

Ida stressed the process to give sanction should be done immediately. So, the criminal responsibility of this video can be ascertained. "Bawaslu should processed it as soon as possible," Ida said.

She said that to comment on video campaign of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok)-Djarot Saiful Hidayat (Ahok-Djarot). In one of the scene, it showed a mother an child threatened by the mass. Meanwhile, in another section, there was a rally against Chinese ethnic held by people who wore fez and white koko shirt.
