REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Politician Ruhut Sitompul who supports Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok)-Djarot Saiful Hidayat, believed there was nothing wrong with the video campaign themed "Beragam Itu Basuki-Djarot". He said it was cool. "I'm not Muslim and often wear fez," he said when contacted by Republika.co.id, on Wednesday (April 12).
Based on Ruhut judgement, the video has no ethnic, religious, racial and social group (SARA) sentiment. He assumed the problem occurred because Muslims claimed the white shirt (koko) was their suits. "It did not offend religion. Well, sorry to say. So do not make claims too often on the clothes," he said.
The 5 minutes and 33 seconds campaign video has been deleted from official Twitter account of Ahok. Many questions arose from the netizen.
@davidok7 said, "I'm just realized that the video had been deleted form Ahok's official channel. Hmm.. did the video have negative impact?" said David.
"@iskandarjet Salute for Ahok's political machine. (They made a campaigning video, spread it up, pinned it, and deleted it. If it was finally deleted, why you made it? Think!" said Isjet.

According to Eva Sundari as Ahok-Djarot winning team, the idea was to promote diversity, tolerance, prosperity and justice. "All of its content is a reflection of reality," she said.
Eva said the video made by Ahok-Djarot winning team. She refused to call it as propaganda. "The facts were there, not fabricated. There were banners, ambush, obstruction to access houses of worship, public facilities and others," she said.
In the minutes of 2:55, the campaign video presented a scene people having a rally against Chinese ethnic. They wore white shirt (koko) and fez (peci). "It really happened during our campaign," Eva claimed.
Political observer from Parahyangan University, Bandung, West Java thought the campaign video was tendencious. Such thing should be avoided in Jakarta gubernatorial election campaign.
Patriotic Advocate (ACTA) has filed a police report against Ahok-Djarot to National Police on Monday (April 10). They believed the campaign video violated the article 28 paragraph (2) ITE for spreading hatred and SARA. "The report accepted by the Criminal Investigation with report number LP / 379 / IV / 2017 10 April 2017," Vice Chairman of ACTA, Hendarsam Marantoko, said to Republika.co.id, on Tuesday.
