REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto during a press conference on Tuesday said he rejected the results of the presidential election to be announced by the General Election Commission (KPU) because KPU has failed to be fair executor of the election.

He said that KPU is the source of problem in the 2014's presidential election which was held last July 9.

According to Prabowo the KPU had ignored recommendations made by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) on some fraud found on the field. Prabowo also blamed KPU, which he said, always referring to the Constitutional Court (MK) whenever there were protests against the election process.

"KPU always refers to the Constitutional Court (MK) while the source of problem is the KPU itself," said Prabowo.

Prabowo claimed the 2014 presidential election was problematic and unfair as his campaign team found various infringement during the voting day held nationwide last July 9.

"There are massive, structured and systematic fraud during the 2014 presidential election," said Prabowo during a press conference at his campaign team's headquarter in Rumah Polonia, east Jakarta.

The General Election Commission (KPU) on Tuesday is conducting final meeting to recap all votes which had been counted in the level of districts and provinces.
