Indonesia-Turkey to explore retail trading cooperation

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia and Turkey is exploring retail trading cooperation and distribution of small medium and enterprises products.

Director of Marketing Services Agency (LLP-KUKM), Ahmad Zabadi said that he had discussed potential cooperation with employers of Istanbul, Turkey who were members of the MUSIAD Independent Industrialist And Businessmen's Association Bursa Office.

"We want to establish trade cooperation," Zabadi said recently.

Turkish delegation was sponsored by the Istanbul Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia. Chairman Board of Bursa Office, Hasan Cepni hopes to find potential partners, which have best products of Indonesian small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

"We encourage all parties to work together to support SMEs product enhancements, as well as making LLP-KUKM as promotion and marketing center of SMEs products to foster enterpreneurial spirit, especially for young generation to encourage the quality of products and competitiveness," Zabadi added.

A total of 40 trade delegation from Istanbul are divided into several sectors, such as textiles, household appliances, automotive, fashion and furniture.
