REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA –- Senior researcher of Indonesia Public Institute (IPI) Karyono Wibowo said that President Joko Widodo must considered the political risks and political costs if he want to reshuffling cabinet.
President, according to him, must be keen in taking decisions. Because the reshuffle was a test for the President to made the right decisions with minimal risks.
"Consideration is based on political calculations need to be done in order to run an effective government," he said in Jakarta, on Monday, May 11.
According to surveys, public satisfaction Jokowi-JK government performance declined to under 50 percent.
"Declining levels of public satisfaction is directly proportional to the decrease level of trust. Therefore, one way to restore public trust is to reshuffle the cabinet," he said.
