REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian government is organizing a workshop on Democracy and Innovation in Good Governance in Jakarta and Bandung, on June 7-13, 2015.
"I hereby declare the Workshop on Democracy and Innovation in Good Governance officially open," Foreign Affairs Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi stated here, Monday.
As many as 21 representatives from 16 Asian, Pacific, Middle East, and African countries are participating in the workshop.
During the workshop, they will share experiences related to the implementation of democracy and good governance in their respective countries.
"I encourage you to use this forum to exchange constructive ideas and views on the success and challenges in the path to achieving progress in national development," the minister stated.
The workshop is being organized by the foreign affairs ministry, the State Administration Institute (LAN), and the USAID.
