REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Registration of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s leader’s candidates was still open. Unexpectedly, Deputy Chairman of KPK, Johan Budi also participates as candidate to be selected by Selection Committee Team.

Criminal law observers of University of Indonesia (UI), Achyar Salmi welcomed Johan's decision. But he urged, on during the selection process, Johan should deactivate his current position.

"Of course there is no prohibition to register as KPK's leaders candidates. But it will be better if he deactivate his current position and focus to participate in the selection," he said when contacted by ROL, on Tuesday, June 23.

According to him, Johan should focus to follow the stages of the selection process for maximum results. Regardless if he I approved or failed. If he accepted, surely he would get what he was expected. However, if the result was otherwise, so he could return to his post during the turnover process has not occurred.

Johan Budi was known register as KPK's leader’s candidates. He signed up after asking for approval to the parents and wives and children. He felt he still wants to continue dedicates him to eradicate corruption in Indonesia.
