REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The United Development Party (PPP) was optimistic to participate in simultaneous local elections (Pilkada) on December 9, 2015. Although, PPP was still experiencing internal conflict. Therefore, the party bearing the Kaaba was still experiencing duality stewardship.

Deputy Secretary General of PPP from Surabaya's congress, Arsul Sani said he was optimistic there was a way out for participation in the elections.

"That is the right of judicial review of the decision PKPU 9 on 2015 article 36 paragraph 2 before registration, so that InshAllah , we will join the election," said Arsul to Republika on Tuesday, July 7.

That is, the result of a judicial ruling became PPP's ticket to participate in the local elections, although they were not reconciliation. Last month, PPP of Romahurmuziy's camp already filed for a judicial review on article 36 paragraph 2 of General Elections Commission rules (PKPU) number 9 in 2015.

PPP's lawsuit that the article was canceled or interpreted that if the determination of execution delay has been canceled by the court, the parties could join the election although the case was still running.

Currently, PPP was still awaiting a judicial decision on this lawsuit. To be sure, said Arsul, PPP was optimistic with the results of judicial decision of PKPU.

"Hopefully before the registration of election begins," said Arsul.
