REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) appreciates and supports Mahaka Sports and Entertainment to hold the Presidents Cup tournament, that will be held this weekend, Sunday (30/8), in Gianyar, Bali.
“The concept of President Cup is from Mahaka, which has received permit and recommendation from PSSI,” said member of Executive Committee of PSSI, Gusti Randa, as cited in official website PSSI, Friday (28/8).
Gusti said that Mahaka Sport has a high credibility to hold this tournament. The Indonesia's highest football federation fully supports Mahaka for the success of the tournament which will be followed by 16 clubs.
On Thursday (27/8), PSSI also had a meeting with the club participants, almost all clubs attended, except Bali United Pusam. The club was still doing preparation and coordination as hosts in tournament's opening ceremony at Gianyar stadium, Bali.
"We just coordinated with the Presidents Cup’s club participants who are members of the PSSI," he added.
