REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - National Narcotics Agency (BNN) had destroyed 15th evidence of narcotics in 2015, Thursday (10/9). There were 49928.43 grams of shabu-shabu destroyed.

In 2015, there were 80 cases of drug abusing with 161 suspects that had been successfully revealed by BNN. The international drug abusers that were caught in Indonesia, majority were drug syndicate from Aceh and Medan.

Malaysian International drug abusers, often utilizing Indonesian citizens to become a courier to supply the drugs.

For example, a case revealed BNN on 30th August 2015. IZ (35 years old) and SA (35 years old) who did not know each other, were named as suspects in the same cases of drug abusing.

They both were promised with tens million rupiah for sending drugs. IZ was promised to get Rp 20 million, and previously received Rp 5 million from the  international drug abusers.

The illegal goods confiscated from the two suspects were 8218.4 grams of shabu-shabu. They were charged with article is Article 114 paragraph (2) Jo Article 132 paragraph (1) and Article 112 paragraph (2) Jo Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics, with the maximum threat of death penalty.
