REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Based on the findings of a national survey of Poltracking Indonesia in evaluating one year in office of Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla, the majority of public assessed that condition of Indonesia was stagnated. Even the economic condition became worse.
Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda, said public was considered that there were still basic problems to be faced. 55.95 percent of people said that the major problem was high price of basic needs and 18.86 percent of people said the major problem was unemployment rate.
Moreover, a total of 6.01 percent of people said that the cost of treatment was expensive, 5,27 percent of people said the cost of education was also expensive, and 5.16 percent of people said combating corruption and other problems had not been resolved.
"Some current issues, such as smog and exchange rate became examples of the failure of the government to solve national problems," said Hanta, in Jakarta, Tuesday (20/10) ,
Hanta explained, based on the survey results, 42.32 percent of people said that the political condition was stagnated. Meanwhile, 42.7 percent of people also said that conditions of law enforcement was also stagnated.
A stagnation was also occurred in national security (said by 42.63 percent of people) and combating corruption (said by 36,53 percent of people). However, 56.53 percent of people said that the economic condition was much worse.
