REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Rizal Ramli, revealed that President Joko Widodo would conduct reshuffle volume II at the end of 2015. According to him, the reshuffle would focus on economy and law sector.
"It is likely before the end of the year there will be a 'reshuffle' volume II, where Mr. Jokowi will select his men in the field of law and economics," said Rizal in Jakarta, Wednesday (18/11) ,
Cabinet reshuffle volume two, Rizal continued, was necessary to maintain economic recovery. He was referring to the Indonesian economic growth that was improved in the third quarter of 2015, at 4,73 percent (yoy).
Rizal said, the trend of economic recovery could not be separated from the first cabinet reshuffle on 13th August 2015.
"The level of public trust in government increases, also with confidence of market participants. It is necessary to grow the economy," he explained.
According to Rizal, in the next cabinet reshuffle, the President would choose a replacement minister according to the results of evaluation and assessment of the President, without any distortion of other interests, such as political interests.
"Cabinet reshuffle according to the results of evaluations and assessments of President will help the government performance in achieving development targets," he said.
He estimated that economic growth in 2016 could reach 6.0 percent. While, in Stated Budget 2016, the government assumed the economic growth of 5.3 percent.
