REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Director of Advocation Task Force in the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Youth, Gufroni, said the prosecution against Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) in blasphemy case tends to play with people's aspiration, especially the people who sought for justice.
"It could trigger distrust against the law enforcement agency and cause disobedience to the law," he said.
Therefore, Muhammadiyah Youth asked the Prosecutorial Commission to inspect the head of prosecutors team of Ahok's case.
"We also urge the Prosecutorial Commission to issue a recommendation to the President and House of Representatives to ask for accountability of the charge made by the prosecutor," Gufroni said.

Gufroni said if the prosecutors was proven not independent, Muhammadiyah Youth asked the the Prosecutorial Commission (Komjak) to recommend the Attorney General to impose sanction against prosecutors in Ahok's case in accordance with the law.
Muhammadiyah Youth urged the Prosecutorial Commission to recommend the Attorney General to replace team of prosecutors in Ahok's case. "We've conveyed our aspiration to the the Prosecutorial Commission (Komjak) on Wednesday (April 26)," he explained in a press release made available to Republika.co.id on the same day.
