REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno said zero percent down-payment housing scheme program will be reallized with cooperation with Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). The financing scheme will use the housing finance liquidity facility (FLPP) program from PUPR Ministry.
Sandi said, Jakarta Provincial Government will only subsidize one percent down-payment from the house price that required by FLPP program or credit for public home loan (KPR). It means, consumers no longer need to pay down-payment when buying a house. "Yes we must cooperate with Ministry of PUPR and the subsidy from Jakarta Provincial Government will be given when consumers need to pay down-payment," said Sandiaga on Friday (January 26).
FLPP is a housing finance with government's subsidy scheme, in collaboration with national banks which has provided the facility. The interest rate is low and flat or unchanged during the repayment period. Annual interest for this program is only five percent and the repayment period is up to 20 years.
Some conditions which stipulated by Ministry of PUPR among other is the recipients never have a house and never received a government's subsidy for house ownership. In addition, their salary or income do not exceed than Rp 4 million for landed house and Rp 7 million for flat.
KPR FLPP is intended for Low Income Communities (MBR) which stable or non stable income. Jakarta Provincial Government has launched the first phase of vertical residential development named Klapa Village in Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta.
Klapa Village will be built one tower first from the plan of two towers. The work is targeted to be completed within 1.5 years.
In the first tower, there will be 20 floors with 703 units. Some 513 units has type 36 and 190 units has type 21. The price for type 36 is Rp 320 million, meanwhile for type 21 is Rp 185 million.
