REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Gerindra Party General Deputy Chairman Fadli Zon said he would be glad if another parties wanted to join his party coalition. So far, there are several parties that have not determined their stance.
He assessed the joining of one of the parties will increase energy of Gerindra coalition.
I think National Mandate party (PAN) is quite intensive and also Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). Next we hope Democratic Party and National Awakening Party (PKB), said Fadli on Tuesday (May 22).
Earlier, Board of Trustees Gerindra Party Deputy Chairman Sandiaga Uno was known to have met with Democratic Party executive Agus harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) on last May 18. According to Democratic Party Deputy Media and Public Relations of the Joint Chiefs of Command (Kogasma), Putu Supadma Rudana, the meeting was intended to explore opportunities for cooperation in 2019 presidential election.

In addition, Fadli said there will be a meeting between Gerindra Party Chief Patron Prabowo Subianto and Democratic Party General Chairman Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). He said the meeting to be arranged in the near future.
Insya Allah (Gods will) there will be a meeting between Mr Prabowo and SBY, it will be arranged soon, Fadli added.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party General Deputy Chairman Roy Suryo said his party has not set the direction of the coalition in 2019 presidential election. He realized currently there are two main axes, namely President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) from Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and Prabowo.
